PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY FROM LIGHTNING DAMAGE?

Four generations of family stand behind Standard Lightning Rods and have been installing lightning protection systems for all sizes and all types of structures both commercial and residential for 60 plus years . Standard Lightning Rods only uses UL listed copper or aluminum materials. Offering complete concealed systems during new construction or semi-concealed systems that blend into the aesthetics of an existing structure.

CONCEALED SYSTEMS

Concealed lightning protection is imperative to be installed during the construction process of your home before drywall is installed . Conductor cables, grounds and metal interconnections are perfectly coursed along studding and rafters during framing.

EXPOSED SYSTEMS FOR EXISTING HOMES / BUILDINGS

For existing homes and buildings we take every opportunity we can to keep the conductor cables hidden as much as possible, while still following all UL 96/96A NFPA 780 LPI 175/177 Requirements.

ORNAMENTAL POINTS

Ornamental points are available on both concealed and exposed systems. We offer different styles and sizes so be sure to ask us for photos to see what we can offer you.

ALUMINUM AND COPPER

Both materials are used for lightning protection systems and sometimes are used together on certain projects , however the two materials should never be used together without bi-metallic connectors. Aluminum parts and cables are heavier and larger to have the same conductivity as copper. We provide expert advice on the most suitable choice for any specific home or building.

4TH GENERATION FAMILY-OWNED COMPANY

Just had lightning protection installed on our new house. The folks who did it were tremendous! Total experts in the UL and NFPA codes and recommendations. They are a UL Listed Company and a NFPA member using only UL-listed materials. Went out of their way to conceal the cables from really being seen. Not the cheapest, but really thorough, neat, and professional! I highly recommend them....4th generation family-owned company.
